Richarlison made his long-awaited return to action in Tottenham’s 4-1 win over West Ham, coming on as a substitute in place of Dominic Solanke on 81 minutes.
The Brazilian has been unable to have any continuity over the course of 2024, having had multiple spells on the treatment table. He will now be hoping to finally make up for lost time.
The 27-year-old needs to take the opportunities that come his way and push Solanke for a place in Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup.

The outlet explains that there is a feeling at Hotspur Way that Richarlison needs game time to build up his match sharpness, given the amount of football he has missed recently.
Richarlison delayed his comeback
The Tottenham man admitted following the game against West Ham that he had delayed his return from his latest injury as a precaution.
He explained that he could have been back playing before the recent international break but wanted to take things slow in order to give his body the chance to recover fully.
The striker said (via Gazeta Esportiva): “We could come back before the FIFA Date, we got together, together with my physio who came from Brazil, so we preferred to wait a little. We chose to train more. Now, I’m prepared, I managed to recover well, thank God, Everything went well.”
