Moore has had a brilliant campaign at club level, with the winger netting 14 goals and providing eight assists in just 12 matches in the Under-18 Premier League (Transfermarkt).

There is plenty of excitement at Hotspur Way about the 16-year-old’s potential, with Ange Postecoglou even handing him his senior debut at the end of the season, with the player thus becoming the youngest to represent Tottenham in Premier League history.

Moore took that form into the U17 Euros, playing a starring role in England’s march to the quarterfinals, with four goals and an assist in the tournament.

Mikey Moore is already looking forward to next season

However, his tournament came to an end in agonising fashion as England were knocked out by Italy on penalties.

The Spurs youngster took to social media to admit that he is gutted about the result but he thanked the fans for their support throughout the season.

It is an extremely disappointing end to the season for England, who were looking for favourites to go all the way in the competition.

However, Moore can be proud of the season he has had and there is no doubt that he is going to be a special player if his current development trajectory continues.
