Tottenham Hotspur defender Alan Hutton has withdrawn from the Scotland squad due to injury.
The full-back was due to face Japan in Yokohama on Saturday, but has pulled out along with Manchester United’s Darren Fletcher just hours before the team flew out of Glasgow airport on Wednesday morning. No reason has yet been given for what injury Hutton has picked up.
Hutton has only made two Premier League appearances for Spurs this season.
