Another Spurs player suffers a hamstring injury

Hamstring injuries are becoming somewhat of a problem for Tottenham Hotspur.

Victor Wanyama is the latest player to have picked up the injury while on international duty.

The midfielder captained Kenya during their 3-0 home victory against Ethiopia. Wanyama made it 3-0 in the 67th minute from the spot after Omondi was fouled inside the penalty area, although the Tottenham Hotspur man later hobbled off with what appeared to be a hamstring problem.

Jan Vertonghen has already been ruled out until at least early December, while Dele Alli also suffered a twinge of his hamstring during the Carabao Cup victory against Watford.

It remains to be seen just how severe Wanyama’s injury is and he will be reassessed upon his return to Hotspur Way this week.

He will now be considered a major doubt for Saturday’s trip to West Ham United in the Premier League.
