An Anthony Martial move to Tottenham was talked about greatly during the summer transfer window, with rumours of Toby Alderweireld moving the other way.
Fast forward a month, Alderweireld has now settled into the Tottenham first team once again, and talks of a new contract have begun to circle.
Martial on the other hand, has suffered the opposite fate, after a fall out with Mourinho in the summer.
After the birth of his son, Anthony Martial went AWOL from the Manchester United squad, with Mourinho expecting him to return to pre season immediately.
Since then, the United gaffer has only played the winger once in four games, taking him off after just an hour in the defeat to Brighton.
The Special One is now said to have lost his patience with the 22-year-old Frenchman, and is willing to offload him in January.
While The Sun report that United are unlikely to sell to a rival, Ricky Sacks has tweeted that a move to another Premier League club is likely.
Would Martial get in ahead of Son and Moura?
