Antoine Griezmann has reacted to a video of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being converted into an American Football ground for Sunday’s NFL clash.
Around 60,000 American Football enthusiasts made their way to Spurs’ ground for the clash between Atlanta Falcons and the New York Jets, with Falcons emerging 27-20 victors.
Tottenham’s home ground has a retractable football pitch with an NFL pitch underneath in order to host American football matches, with the club signing a ten-year agreement to host two matches per season.
Chairman Daniel Levy was also present at the venue on Sunday (according to The Sun) as fans in attendance got to see some great fireworks and were entertained by cheerleaders.
The NFL posted a video on their official Twitter account of the stadium being transformed ahead of the clash between the Falcons and the Jets.
Going by Griezmann’s reaction, the Atletico Madrid star was certainly left impressed by Spurs’ home ground.

This is more evidence that hosting NFL, boxing, concerts and other major events at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is only going to boost the club’s profile.
While some purists may not like it, it is certainly going to add to the club’s coffers, which is only going to benefit the football club in the long term.
