Antonio Conte hints at how many first-team stars will travel to NS Mura

Antonio Conte has revealed that all ‘available’ players will travel to NS Mura for Tottenham’s Europa Conference League match this week.

This comes just days after the Lilywhites defeated Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with another Premier League fixture away to Burnley coming this weekend.

Although Nuno Espirito Santo elected to split his squad in half at times during the Conference League schedule, Conte will seemingly be taking his full team.

The Spurs head coach revealed in his press conference that certain players needed a rest and certain others needed game time, but all available first-team members would make the trip.

This implies that everyone but the injured trio of Lo Celso, Romero and Scarlett could be in line to travel to Slovenia for the game on Thursday.

Tottenham will be looking for a win to help close the gap on Rennes at the top of the table, who are due to play Vitesse Arnhem in Group G this week.

Conte said (Football London): “All the players available will come with us. They must be ready to play against Mura.

“I need to make rotation because there are players that are a bit tired because played many games with international team and other players need game time.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

This sounds like a good idea as Nuno splitting the squad did not go down too well. Also, extra matches can only help to build the fitness that Conte is clearly demanding. I am excited to see some of the fringe players get some good minutes.
