Antonio Conte reveals Ryan Sessegnon is injured once again ahead of West Ham tie

Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have been part of Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-West Ham United press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.

After an impressive performance against Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League, attention now switches to the Carabao Cup with a place in the semi final up for grabs between the two London rivals.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the match in North London tomorrow evening.

Journalists are continuing to dial into the press conference via the Zoom web conferencing platform following the recent Covid-19 outbreak at the club’s training ground which halted the brief return of those who were permitted back into the building to pose their questions to the Italian in person.

The Hammers have beaten both Manchester City and Manchester United in this season’s competition and Spurs will be certainly looking to avoid giving the West Ham fans the bragging rights in the game which is usually their cup final.

Conte has revealed that Ryan Sessegnon picked up a muscular issue during the end of the draw against Liverpool and is expected to be sidelined for around 10 days.

Cristian Romero remains out of action with a hamstring issue.
