According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Club Brugge are asking Tottenham to pay a larger fee for Antonio Nusa than the figures that have been reported over the last few days.
Various outlets have suggested over the last 24 hours that Tottenham look on course to completing the signing of Nusa.
In fact, TEAMtalk even revealed on Thursday afternoon that Spurs are hopeful of finalising an agreement for £26m in a matter of hours and that the North London club were ‘closing in’ on the winger.
The report explained that Nusa has asked to remain at Brugge until the end of the season, which the Premier League side have greenlighted.

Club Brugge want a bigger fee for Antonio Nusa
However, Tavolieri has now taken to social media to explain that Brugge want Tottenham to match the €36m (£31m) figure they received from AC Milan for Charles De Ketelaere.
The journalist does not provide any details on whether Ange Posteocoglou’s men are willing to meet that asking price but he suggests Nusa is keen on making the switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tavolieri adds that the next few days could be important in determining whether the proposed transfer goes through.

One would hope that the two clubs can reach a compromise before the February 1 transfer deadline. If the Nusa deal does go down to the wire, that makes it more unlikely that Tottenham would also be able to get a midfielder through the door.
