Argentina fans review Juan Foyth’s Copa America performance at right-back

Tottenham Hotspur youngster, Juan Foyth, is now in the semi-finals of the Copa America with Argentina after his side beat Venezuela 2-0 yesterday.

Foyth has started the last two matches for his national team, first at centre-back and then yesterday in the right-back berth.

Pochettino used Foyth mainly as a central defender in the Premier League last season, but did give him one run out at right-back, a game in which he impressed.

With Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier both having dodgy seasons last time out, perhaps Foyth will be used more often in this position through the next campaign.

The 21-year-old is highly-rated in North London, and with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen coming towards the ends of their contracts, he may still have a bright future.

However, it looks as if Argentina fans cannot agree on whether Foyth had the game of his life in the Copa America yesterday or a dismal performance.
