Andrés D’Alessandro has been quoted as saying that Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry.
The midfielder has previously worked under Harry Redknapp when he spend half a season on loan at Portsmouth in 2006. The Argentina international is currently back playing football in his homeland for Internacional, where he has scored five goals in twenty games.
D’Alessandro said: “Directors from Borussia Dortmund came to Porto Alegre to talk with me, Tottenham and clubs from the Emirates have called.”
