Arne Slot has discussed the possibility of whether Andy Robertson could complete a late exit from Liverpool amidst the rumours linking the left-back with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
As Spurs fans will be well aware, Liverpool blocked Robertson’s move to Tottenham after initially agreeing a deal with the North London club.
It has been reported that Robertson’s move to Spurs is not completely dead yet, but it is out of the Lilywhites’ hands.
According to Fabrizio Romano and other sources, Tottenham can only land Robertson if Roma sign another left-back and subsequently allow Kostas Tsimikas to return to his parent club, Liverpool.

Arne Slot sheds light on Andy Robertson’s proposed Tottenham move
The Liverpool boss has now been directly quizzed about the left-back’s future at Anfield as the speculation continues to intensify about his future.
Slot made it clear that he expects Robertson to stay, but admitted that he cannot say definitely that the Scot will be at the club beyond Monday.
The Dutchman said ahead of his side’s Champions League clash against Qarabag (via This Is Anfield): “Robbo is part of the team tomorrow evening [against Qarabag], and he has been part of this squad and this club for so many years.
“Happy to have him, good that he’s available because that’s quite important for us at the moment! He will be part of the team, and nothing happened from my side. It’s hard to say anything definitive in this world, but I expect him to stay, yes.”
Spurs turn their attention to Wolves man after Liverpool snub
It emerged on Monday that Roma’s offer for Wolves left-back David Moller Wolfe was turned down, which came as a blow to the Lilywhites’ pursuit of Robertson.
Interestingly, though, it has emerged that Spurs themselves have turned their attention to another Wolves defender after their Robertson deal hit a snag.
It has been claimed that Tottenham are showing interest in a late deal for Hugo Bueno, who has allegedly been identified by the Lilywhites as an alternative to the Liverpool full-back.
