A young England star, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham over recent months, is also alleged to be on the radar of Arsenal.
Thomas Frank has chopped and changed his midfield since the start of the season, and the Dane has struggled to find the right balance.
That is perhaps why it has been reported that Tottenham are eyeing several midfielders with Premier League experience ahead of the January window.
Among those is Kobbie Mainoo, who Spurs have been backed to reignite their interest in after their summer enquiry was rebuffed by Man United.

Arsenal could challenge Tottenham for Kobbie Mainoo
The 20-year-old has struggled for game time at Old Trafford this season, and there have been suggestions that Mainoo is keen to leave United in search of regular game time in January.
ESPN journalist Mark Odgen has now claimed that Ruben Amorim’s side may be willing to let their academy graduate leave for the right price, but he also tipped Arsenal to vie for the youngster’s signature.
Ogden said on the ESPN FC Podcast: “United would prefer to keep him, I guess, but as we know, United are happy to let players go, our homegrown players.
“PSR situations, it happened with Garnacho in the summer to Chelsea. So I think Kobbie Mainoo will have an interesting window. I don’t think he will go to Arsenal, but I think he’s a player that Arsenal could look at if they were getting to the end of the window and they did a short-term option to be a cover option for Martin Odegaard.”
Man United would only let Mainoo go under one condition
Ogden reiterated his claim about the Gunners potentially making a move for Mainoo in his article on ESPN’s website, but he explained that the Red Devils would only let the midfielder leave if they could find a replacement.
We have heard over recent weeks that Man United are considering making an offer for Spurs target Conor Gallagher.
It has also been reported that Amorim’s men are keen on landing Elliot Anderson, which means that a January sale of Mainoo could very much be on the cards.
