Arsenal boss brands Spurs attack ‘one of most special in Europe’

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has claimed that Tottenham’s attack is one of the most special in all of European football ahead of the North London Derby this evening.

Spurs come into the game off the back of some hot form, winning their past five matches in all competitions, including their last three Premier League games.

In that time, the trio of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Gareth Bale has been potent, to say the least, with Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela also shining in number 10 roles.

Kane scored two and assisted two in the last Premier League match against Crystal Palace before netting another brace in Europe against Dinamo Zagreb in midweek (TransferMarkt).

The England captain now has 26 goals and 16 assists in 37 games across all competitions this season (TransferMarkt).

Thanks to his two goals last time out against Palace, Bale now has 10 goals and three assists in 23 games this season, while Son boasts 18 goals and 16 assists in 40 games.

Mikel Arteta had this to say (Independent): “It’s very difficult because the level of quality, precision, understanding and chemistry that they have between them makes them probably one of the most special (attacks) in Europe.

“And they don’t need much. They are able to create their own chances, they are able to link as a team.

“So it is really difficult to do, but we will prepare the game well to try to stop them obviously.”
