Another week, another laughable talkSPORT story on Tottenham, this time featuring a deluded Arsenal caller.
Stand-in host Sam Matterface was left slightly perplexed as Gunners fan Ash called up to claim that Harry Kane wasn’t even in the top ten finishers in the league.
He said that ex-Arsenal man Olivier Giroud and Hammers star Marko Arnautovic had more of an eye for goal than the Tottenham man.
This came after Matterface asked listeners whether Kane was the best current finisher in the world, a worthy debate.
Harry Kane has scored 114 Premier League goals in just 165 games for Tottenham.
Arnautovic has managed 38 in 160 appearances, and Giroud only has two in his last 26 for club and country.
The stats didn’t exactly back poor Ash up there.

However, he still went on to list Sergio Aguero, Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and Jamie Vardy as better finishers off the top of his head.
talkSPORT report Ash said: “There are at least about five players better than him [Kane] at finishing; I’m not even going to talk about the trophies he HASN’T won yet.
“He’s not even in the top ten finishers in the Premier League at the moment.
“You’ve got Arnautovic and if you have Giroud on a good day he’s better, I’m not even going to talk about Sergio Aguero or Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino Sadio Mane or Jamie Vardy, there are so many players above Kane at the moment.
“He CAN be the best. He isn’t at the moment but he can be.”
