It has been only been a week and a half since Mauricio Pochettino given his marching orders at Tottenham by Daniel Levy and replaced by Jose Mourinho but the Argentine has already been linked with the job on the other side of North London.
After Arsenal sacked Unai Emery following a string of poor performances and results, Pochettino is reported to be one of the options the club are looking at to replace the Spaniard (The Telegraph).
Some Arsenal fans have been quite supportive of the idea of Pochettino joining them and feel that he is the right man for the job despite his five and a half year association with Spurs.
Some Spurs fans on social media laughed off suggestions that the Argentine would even consider managing their fiercest rivals and pointed out how the 47-year-old had claimed in 2018 that he would rather work on a farm than manage Arsenal (talkSPORT).
Dear all #Arsenal fans.#Pochettino wouldn’t touch you with a barge pole.

We sack Pochettino, take Arsenal's number one target, they are begging for Pochettino, and are about to sign our third/fourth choice Poch replacement (Allegri).
But North London is red apprently ?

I bet the Arsenal board regret not blinking first and taking Jose. Now they’re left with mainly unproven managers or mid table picks. Allegri would be (you’d think) the standout candidate (or should be) and easiest to do. Forget Pochettino.

Arsenal fans pissing their pants about Pochettino is a new low. Be better rivals for the love of God. Just try, just for a bit.

Spurs Web Opinion
While cynics will say Jose Mourinho also said that he wouldn’t manage Spurs, Mauricio’s case is clearly different as he specifies that he wouldn’t manager Arsenal even if he was sacked by Daniel Levy, just like he wouldn’t manage Barcelona despite being parting company with Espanyol in an unsavoury manner. Besides, Pochettino is much more loyal man and a man of principle when compared to Mourinho. So I am confident that he will never even think about taking the Arsenal job for five seconds.
