Tottenham Hotspur are enduring one of their worst weeks this season after suffering back to back defeats in the Premier League to Burnley and Chelsea.
Back on Saturday, Spurs had the chance to go just two behind Liverpool and put the pressure on in the early kick off against Sean Dyche’s men.
However, they were unable to take any grasp on the game and lost 2-1, before heading to Chelsea and losing 2-0 with a similarly flat performance.
On the surface, this looked to have ended Tottenham’s title challenge, but something far worse could be lurking if the team don’t rediscover some kind of form.
Arsenal are now just four points behind Spurs in the table, with the chance to make it just the one if they beat their rivals in the North London Derby this weekend.
The Gunners fans were actually heard chanting ‘Tottenham Hotspur, we’re coming for you’ in their 5-1 win over Bournemouth in midweek (Sun).
