Arsenal keeper fires warning at Tottenham ahead of NLD

Fans of both Tottenham and Arsenal alike will share the excitement and anticipation ahead of the latest North London Derby this weekend.

This is the third time Spurs and Arsenal have met this season, with both sides having won one previous affair.

The clubs also come into the game side by side in the table, with Spurs in third place and Arsenal just four points behind in fourth.

A win for Tottenham could go a long way to securing a top four spot, while a win for Arsenal would cut the gap down to just one point.

Spurs also come into the game in considerably worse form than their opponents, having lost back to back matches in the League. Arsenal come into it off the back of a 5-1 win over Bournemouth in midweek.

Bernd Leno has now issued a warning to Tottenham, stating that his side need the points and will do what they can to take them.

He said (Mirror): “I remember I played with Leverkusen at Wembley and we won 1-0 against Tottenham.

“To play at Wembley and win, there’s nothing better.

“Tottenham is on another level to Bournemouth, so it will be more difficult, but when you talk to all the people in the city, all the supporters, for them it’s the biggest game of the year – and it is for us as well.

“We saw in the league (when Arsenal won 4-2 at the Emirates in December) what a big meaning this game has. We have to win because we need the points, but we also need the atmosphere.”
