Arsenal legend claims this Spurs target should have been in PFA shortlist

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer as they push for silverware in the 2019/20 season.

Spurs are currently in the Champions League semi final, but failed to spend a single penny over the course of the current season.

The Lilywhites have lost 11 games this season already, more than the previous two campaigns combined, and they will surely look to sure up the defence in the transfer window.

One player they have been heavily linked with is Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, after suffering consistency issues from their own right backs Trippier and Aurier (Sun).

Wan-Bissaka has enjoyed an incredible breakthrough season for the Eagles, and will likely be available for the right price come the summer.

Many believe that he has been one of the best youngsters this season, however, the PFA shortlist does not reinforce that claim.

Wan-Bissaka was snubbed from the Young Player of the Year shortlist, in place of Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Brooks, Rashford, Rice, and Alexander-Arnold.
