Tottenham Hotspur shocked the footballing world last night as they repeated Liverpool’s heroic Champions League comeback and secured a spot in the final alongside their fellow Premier League club.
Spurs looked to be dead and buried at half time in Amsterdam, as Ajax’s two first-half goals had left the Lilywhites trailing 3-0 on aggregate.
However, a second 45 domination and three goals from Lucas Moura made it 3-2 on the night for Tottenham and sent them through on the away goals rule.
Arsenal legend Cesc Fabregas took to Twitter after the match to congratulate his rival club and point out what an excellent manager Pochettino is.
This classy gesture comes after Fabregas had a rather public spat with Tottenham legend Graham Roberts after Spurs overcame Man City in the quarters.
The former Gunners midfielder posed the question of whether fans would rather their club win the Europa League or finish second in the Champions League.
Graham Roberts took offence and nibbled back before Fabregas silenced him with a slightly disrespectful dig.
Anyway, it seems now Fabregas at least has to admit that Spurs have done well.
Genuine question… As a fan, would you rather get to the Champions League final and be a runner up or win the Europa League? Just curious.

I don’t know who you are and I don’t know if I’m getting enough game time or not but I do know you won’t win anything again this season.
