Arsenal manager forced to move seats on flight with Spurs fans

It has been a month to forget for Arsenal Football Club, both domestically and in their European competition.

The Gunners failed to finish in the top four in the Premier League for the third year running, yet again falling short of their bitter rivals Tottenham.

To make matters worse, although Arsenal qualified for the final of the Europa League, they were forced to watch Spurs make it all the way to the Champions League final.

Unai Emery’s side lost the Europa League final in Baku 4-1 to Chelsea, ending the season in humiliation. The Arsenal manager then flew out to Madrid to watch Spurs try their luck in a major European final.

While Emery was invited by Hotels.com and flew business class, The Times report that he had the flight from hell over to Spain.

It has been reported that Tottenham fans on the flight quickly noticed the Arsenal gaffer, and proceeded to jeer and heckle, forcing him to move seats.
