The news coming out of Norway’s camp is that the injury that Martin Odegaard picked up against Austria does not look encouraging, with the attacking midfielder’s participation in the North London Derby thus in doubt.

The North London Derby is coming
Ange Postecoglou’s men will want to get back to winning ways after their disappointing result against Newcastle and there is no better occasion to send out a real statement than on Sunday, with Arsenal coming to N17.
Tottenham will now sense that they have an opportunity to get one over the Gunners, who are reportedly struggling with injuries, with up to eight players out of action (Football.London).
Mikel Arteta would have hoped to have his captain, Martin Odegaard, fit for the clash but he too is now a doubt after coming off with an injury in Norway’s 2-0 win over Austria.
The 25-year-old played 67 minutes before being forced off with an ankle injury at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo and the updates coming out of the Norway camp suggest that the player might be out for a while.

Not looking good for Odegaard
Norway boss Stale Solbakken said (as relayed by Fabrizio Romano): “Martin Odegaard’s injury looked bad in the dressing room as well.
Norway doctor Ola Sand said about the injury: “He got a small ankle sprain. We will see, maybe we use ultrasound to look at it. If we are unsure, there will be an MRI tomorrow.”

It sounds like Odegaard might struggle to be fit for Sunday’s game.
If the attacking midfielder is out of action, it will be a major blow for Arsenal, especially given that they will also be without Declan Rice in midfield too.
