Arsenal show their Spurs obsession yet again as star takes to the pitch at half time to mock the Lilywhites

Tottenham Hotspur have dropped down in fourth place for the first time in months after rivals Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-0 at home yesterday.

Spurs had a chance to secure a top three spot for another few days at least if they’d secured the win against Liverpool, but a missed Sissoko chance and a late Lloris error saw Tottenham drop all three.

While Spurs have dropped 14 points out of their last possible 15, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man United have been gaining ground.

Arsenal now go into third, two points above Tottenham, with Man United level with Spurs, and Chelsea just one behind.

Things could not be tighter in the race for the top four, which may be a bitter pill to swallow for Spurs fans, seeing as they were so far ahead of their rivals just a few weeks ago.

Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin took to the Emirates pitch at half time last night to update fans on his injury, and couldn’t resist showing the Tottenham obsession once again.

Bellerin said (Metro): “It’s good to be above Tottenham as it stands. They’re always in our shadow!”
