Aurier leads the Moura welcome party

It looks like Lucas Moura will have no problems settling in at Spurs with him welcomed to Tottenham with open arms by Serge Aurier as the Brazilian reunites with his former PSG colleague at Spurs.

Moura sealed a £25million switch to Spurs on deadline day and was at Wembley on Wednesday night to be introduced to the crowd and watch his new team-mates beat Manchester United 2-0.

Aurier and Moura played together at Paris Saint-Germain between 2014 and 2017, and looked delighted to link up with his former team-mate again.

We confirmed the signing of Moura with an elaborate video of Aurier performing a handshake with team-mates Son Heung-min and Dele Alli before finally greeting the Brazilian.

Aurier then posted a video on his Instagram story of the duo in the Wembley tunnel after Moura’s unveiling with both Neymar and Marquinhos, both current PSG players, tagged in the clip.

Moura was deemed surplus to requirements at PSG after failing down the pecking order at the French champions following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar and failed to start a game all season and appearing just six times off the bench.

On his arrival Moura said
‘I am so happy to be here,’ via a short video on Tottenham’s snapchat account. ‘It will be a pleasure to play for Tottenham. It’s a big challenge for me, a new chapter of my life.I’m so excited to play, to get to know the new stadium, the fans and I am sure we will do big things together.’
