Serge Aurier’s transfer to Tottenham is seemingly imminent now that the Ivorian has received his permit to work in the UK, according to SkySources.
Recently, it had been reported by many outlets that Tottenham and PSG had agreed a deal in the region of £23 million for the out-of-favour defender.
With personal terms also rumoured to have been already agreed too, the 24 year old was simply waiting on his work permit to join Spurs.
According to SkySources, now that the permit has come through, confirmation of Aurier’s arrival at Tottenham is imminent.
Aurier had fallen down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes, while pricey new signings had also forced PSG’s hand to sell the want-away right-back.
The full-back was a figure of interest at European giants Juventus and Barcelona, but Aurier is reportedly keen to join Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs ahead of a move to Italy or Spain.
Tottenham are expected to make an announcement within the next 24 hours of the Ivorian international’s official signing for the club.
Would Aurier become your first choice right-back at Spurs?
