Gladson Awako has welcomed interest from Spurs and would be eager to join them should the opportunity arise.
The Heart of Lions playmaker had a trial with Spurs last April, who have kept an eye on the 18-year-old ever since.
Awako can play in a number of positions in the attacking half of the pitch and is generally recognised as a promising playmaker.
He has set his sights on a move to Europe now, with Spurs and Inter Milan credited with a high interest.
Awako said, “There are many teams after me, but my first choice would always be England.
“It’s the league I prefer because my game is suited to that style of play and I speak English as well.
“It’s true Tottenham have watched me and hopefully I’ve impressed them. If they make an offer and it’s accepted I’d be happy.
“They are a very good team and I love the way they play.”
