‘Back to back’ – Harry Kane sends message after scoring consecutive hat-tricks

Harry Kane has taken to social media to express his delight at helping England seal qualification to the World Cup.

England demolished San Marino 10-0 on Monday to book their place in the World Cup in Qatar.

The Three Lions went through the qualification phase unbeaten and their firepower was in full display over the international break with their ruthless demolition of Albania and San Marino.

Kane had an extremely productive international break, finding the back of the net seven times over the two matches.

The England captain has now taken his international goal tally to 48 and sits just five behind Wayne Rooney’s all-time record.

Spurs fans will be hoping that the goals over the international break have opened the floodgates for the 28-year-old and that he now starts banging in the goals at club level.

Kane took to social media after the game to post a picture with the entire England squad with the match ball in hand.

Conte would have been extremely pleased to see Kane back among the goals during the international break. The fact that he got taken off around the hour mark in both matches also means that the striker will come back to the club relatively fresh.
