Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with several high profile jobs already just over two weeks on from being sacked as Tottenham manager.
The Argentine has been linked with a shock move to Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal (The Athletic) and is also supposedly on the radar of Manchester United (Manchester Evening News).
However, The Express reported this week that there was a major hurdle to Pochettino joining another English club before the end of the season as if he does chooses to do so, he would have to pay back the £12.5million pay off he received from the club following his sacking.
Meanwhile, The Telegraph claimed that any club trying to secure Pochettino would still have to negotiate with Daniel Levy and have to agree on a compensation package with Spurs.
Some Spurs fans praised Levy on hearing about the reported clauses and credited the chairman for once again outsmarting their rivals.
If what is being said is true about Pochettino and the conditions of his firing are true, then Daniel Levy has played a blinder (made me feel sick saying that?) No chance Pochettino manages a Premier League team this season.

Spurs Web Opinion
It remains to be seen if these deterrents put in place are significant enough from stopping Pochettino joining a Premier League rival before the end of the current campaign. However, I am confident that given the plan of principle that he is, he wouldn’t even contemplate taking the Arsenal job.
