Bale back in Wales fold

Gareth Bale has been recalled by Wales for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Finland and Liechtenstein.

Bale hasn’t played on the international scene since picking up a knee problem after the game against Estonia in May, an injury that has also restricted him to just 95 minutes of football for Spurs this term.

But having fully recovered and had a full 90 minutes in the Carling Cup match against Preston, John Toshack has seen fit to bring Bale back into the reckoning for the dead rubber matches, with Wales hopes of qualifying long gone.

Wales however, will have to make do without Brian Stock, Jack Collison and ex-Spur, Simon Davies for the games which take place on the 10th and 14th of October.
