Gareth Bale has been named as the only Premier League player to be named in Marca’s team of the year for 2010.
The team was chosen in a survey of over 125,000 votes from reader’s of the Madrid-based sports newspaper.
Bale’s sizzling form over the past 12 months has helped to raise his profile overseas and the Spanish public recognise him as one of the best in the world.
