Bale describes Spurs win against Arsenal as special

Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale described Tottenham’s 3-2 win against Arsenal as “something special” after we came back from 2-0 down to win the match.

Bale got Spurs back into the game with a neat finish, with Van der Vaart (pen) and a late Younes Kaboul header silenced the library and gave us our first win at their place in 17 years.

“For the fans and everybody it’s the one game everyone looks out for and to get the victory, especially at the Emirates, is something special,” Bale told Sky Sports 2.

“The gaffer said before the game we have got a great squad and a great team and we can match anybody. We didn’t have the greatest of first halves but showed what we can do in the second half.

“We put JD (Jermain Defoe) up front in the second half, sort of went for it a bit, worked for each other and it paid off.”

  1. well done lads. better than 4-4 fight back of 2 years ago. To see those gooners faces was something special. Note to arsene, when you throw a bottle of water don’t throw it in a way that it shoots all over you, it makes you look an arse. Special mention to Gallas, you earnt your SPURS today

  2. well played today from a gooner. You guys played better but form our point of view we need to do some re evaluating. This might sound weird but we would’ve given you guys a better game in your ground than ours.i dont know its is a mental thing, the players become almost paralyzed by the pressure at the emirates.

Anyways you guys have top 4 team finally….just dont fuck it while juggling the cl,fa cup, and the prem!

  3. I've gotta say, Gallas was superb ! Nice bit of piss taking from Arry making him captain. As for Nasri slagging him off about loyalty, saying he would never join Spurs, for your information, no one's asked you too, you muggy little prick ! And if your so big on loyalty , how come you play for France and not Algeria where you was born. mug!
