Gareth Bale has claimed that he already knows what he is doing next season following the conclusion of his loan spell with Tottenham Hotspur.

Bale will now join up with the Wales squad for the Euros and added that his mind is purely focused on the international tournament now.

While the winger did admit that he knew what he was doing next year, he also claimed it would cause chaos if he said it out loud at the moment.

These comments came after the on-loan Real Madrid man came off the bench to grab a brace for Tottenham against Leicester City on the final day of the season.

That took the Welshman’s tally for the season up to 16 goals and three assists across all competitions and 11 goals from 20 games in the Premier League (TransferMarkt).

Bale has previously claimed that he plans to return to Real Madrid this summer because he is still contracted at the club for another season.

Today, he told Sky Sports 23/05/21 at 18:15 (as relayed by Dan Kilpatrick and Alasdair Gold): “It will have to happen after the Euros.

“I know what I’m doing but it’ll just cause chaos if I say anything.

“I’m not thinking about anything else other than Wales.”
