Birmingham are reportedly interested in taking Gareth Bale to St Andrews in January.

The Blues had been linked with a move for the Welshman over the summer, but a combination of price and injury stopped them from following up their interest.

Now with his injury cleared up, and Alex McLeish now benefitting from Carson Yeung’s millions, the deal could be reignited in the winter transfer window.

Bale has been restricted to just one start this season, coming against Preston in the Carling Cup, and only recently broke his duck of playing in a winning Spurs team for the first time since his move from Southampton in 2007.

McLeish has reportedly been given £40million to spend by Yeung and could well stump up £3million in order to bring Bale to the Midlands.

  1. This is laughable not the story about Bale but Mr.Yeungs Millions any body want to bet he wont get near forty Millions to spend or even Ten Millon .He done a runner for twelve months and is more shady than Shinawatra HONK KONG is the gambling capital of the world what better way to make money than betting on a two horse race with good odds. When we got beat by Birmingham two seasons ago 4-1 the odds were 250/1 and just to win 6/1 we lost home and away both games were 6/1 to win incredible odds .What price would punters have got last night for Barcelona to get beat at home in the champs league .Mr schofield would let AL Capone run a club at the moment look at is proper persons record so far shinawatra stolen money the West Ham fiasco the Porstmouth DR ,skint and the mystery Prince . Don’t be suprised if Bale is still starring for Spurs in February.COYS
