Gareth Bale is confident that Tottenham Hotspur can finish in the top four of the Premier League.
The Welsh left-back has recently returned to the Spurs first-team following an injury to Benoit Assou-Ekotto and has turned in some impressive displays.
“I think this year is a big year for us,” he toldThe Sun. “Fourth spot is wide open with three or four teams fighting for that place and we’re one of them.
“We want to keep playing as well as we can and win every game.
“We’ve got the squad to do that and we just want to keep working hard.”
When asked about winning his first game in 23 games as a starter, Bale added: “I’d rather forget about that record now.
“People mentioned it but it didn’t bother me.”
