Pochettino’s boys smashed six passed the Toffees, before following up with a 5-0 win over the Cherries to move above City and just six points below Liverpool.
However, as quickly as the title hopes emerged, they disappeared once more, as Tottenham fell to a shock home defeat to Wolves.
Spurs led the game at half time thanks to a superb Harry Kane strike, but conceded three goals in 15 minutes to see all three points vanish from their grasp.
With Liverpool defeating Arsenal 5-1, and Man City beating Southampton, Tottenham are right back where they started now, and one man could not have been happy enough.
Despite his team being four points behind even Tottenham, Frank Sinclair tweeted out a message mocking the Lilywhites after their Wolves loss.
However, one Spurs fan had the perfect response to silence the troll.
