Tottenham are reported to be battling Manchester United to land Lyon’s left-sided player Michel Bastos.
The 26-year-old can operate at left-back or as a left winger and despite a mixed season with the French outfit is said to be attracting interest from the Premier League pair.
However, Lyon’s valuation of around £22million for the Brazilian could hamper any possible chance of a move.
Spurs were linked with a move for Bastos last summer, while he was still at Lille and were quoted a fee of £12million – so it seems that Lyon want double the price.
