Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who has been mooted as a target for Tottenham over recent months, is open to joining Bayern Munich this summer, according to Sky Germany reporter, Florian Plettenberg.
As expected, the speculation over Harry Kane’s future continues to intensify as we get closer to the summer transfer window, with the striker looking no closer to penning a new contract at Tottenham.
The Daily Mirror reported a couple of days ago that Spurs are expected to demand a fee of over £100m for the England captain in the summer and suggested that Manchester United could be open to meeting the asking price.
If Tottenham do lose Kane, the North London club would have to move for a big-name replacement, with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic named as a potential target for the North London club over recent days (JuveLive.it).
Another name that has been put forward is Osimhen, with Football. London revealing last month that Tottenham have been long-term admirers of the Nigerian international.
The Lilywhites’ interest in the Napoli star was also backed up by Football Insider, who claimed back in February that Spurs could battle the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for the 24-year-old.
However, Plettenberg has now taken to social media to suggest that Bayern are expected to make advances towards snapping up Osimhen over the coming weeks.
❗️News #Osimhen: The 24 y/o top striker would definitely join Bayern in summer! Confirmed again and today. Bayern bosses like him a lot. His management and the player are aware of it. More talks could follow in the next weeks. It’s all about the price – and Tuchel. @SkySportDE 🇳🇬 pic.twitter.com/u4ubLQOzUc

Spurs Web Opinion
If Kane were to leave, Osimhen would be the obvious option to go for but I doubt we would be able to beat out competition from elite clubs for the Nigerian’s signature.
I would personally prefer to see Spurs pull out all the stops to get Ivan Toney if Kane departs.
