Bayern Munich are expected to offer one of their attacking players to Tottenham Hotspur for a cut-price fee when the North London club reach out to them regarding a permanent deal for Mathys Tel in the summer.
Mathys Tel arrived on loan from Bayern in January and is still getting used to life in the Premier League, with the 19-year-old yet to set the world alight since his arrival.
Reports have indicated that Tottenham are planning to activate the £45m option to buy Tel in the summer, but that is not expected to stop Ange Postecoglou’s men from pursuing other attacking reinforcements in the summer.
A few days ago, it emerged that Spurs are circling over Kingsley Coman, who is surplus to requirements at Bayern, and a fresh update has now emerged about the Frenchman’s future.

Bayern Munich plot Kingsley Coman to Tottenham plan
GiveMeSport have now revealed that Tottenham are expected to be handed an opportunity to secure Kingsley Coman’s services when the transfer window opens in June.
The report states that when the Lilywhites contact Bayern about a permanent deal for Tel, the Bundesliga giants will also offer the North London club the chance to sign the 28-year-old winger.
The outlet claims that the Coman will be ‘pushed’ in Tottenham’s direction this summer, with the Bavarian club willing to sell the experienced wide man to the Premier League side for just £30m.
With the former Juventus man unable to make himself a key part of Vincent Kompany’s plans, he will be allowed to embark on a fresh challenge.
Why a deal for Coman might not be straightforward for Spurs
GiveMeSport go on to explain that while Spurs have been alerted to the availability of Coman, they have not yet decided if they will consider signing the winger when Bayern offer them the player.
It is also pointed out that the Les Blues star’s wage demands may be an issue for Tottenham, with the player currently on a £275,000-per-week contract at the Allianz Arena.
It is suggested that Coman may thus have to take a significant wage cut in order to seal a move to N17.
