Some Spurs fans on social media are extremely concerned about Giovani Lo Celso after Jose Mourinho revealed in his pre-match press conference this afternoon (Football.London) that the midfielder will not be available for the London derby against West Ham.
Mourinho also revealed that Japhet Tanganga will miss the game with an injury, while Eric Dier is also a doubt after picking up a hamstring problem on international duty with England.
Lo Celso withdrew from the Argentina squad two weeks ago due to a thigh injury that also kept him out of the game against Manchester United (Alasdair Gold).
Mourinho revealed that the 23-year-old has not recovered in time to be fit for tomorrow’s clash but he did suggest that the midfielder could be ready for next week’s game against Burnley.
Some Spurs fans are worried about Lo Celso’s frequent injury issues and his failure to get a consistent run in the side.
Others felt the same about Tanganga and expressed their concern about the academy graduate’s fitness.
Lo Celso and Tanganga’s injuries are a little worrying. Neither can seem to stay fit for long.

Only two fit centrebacks. But people told me this had been a 10/10 window and that I had no right to complain? A top club with only two fit centrebacks. Two mediocre centrebacks on top of that. https://t.co/5fIxMgSitq

Spurs Web Opinion
It sounds like Lo Celso and Dier’s injuries are not serious, with both players likely to back in action soon but it is Tanganga’s injury problems that have me concerned. The youngster worked really hard to get back from a back stress fracture just a few weeks ago but now looks like he is set for a spell on the sidelines once again. Perhaps, this development would convince Spurs to push ahead with a move for Joe Rodon before the 5 pm deadline.
