David Bentley’s agent has confirmed that he is hoping to finalise a loan move to America.
The Spurs winger had joined West Ham United at the beginning of the campaign on a season-long loan, but a knee injury meant he had to go under the knife and cut short his stint at Upton Park.
Bentley’s days at White Hart Lane look to be numbered, so it’s probably just a matter of getting him out on loan and get some of his wages paid or shared by the other club. Vancouver Whitecaps are said to be the MLS club who are leading the chase.
His agent Rob Segal told The Sun when asked about the MLS: “This is something that is interesting for David, as it will also get him fit.
“He would like to go there on loan as soon as possible.”
