Sky Sports are now claiming that Besiktas have made a surprise move to sign Robbie Keane on a season-long loan.
Keane has been unhappy at being behind Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko in the pecking order at Tottenham and is expected to leave the club before the transfer window closes today.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic and has been linked with moves to West Ham and Aston Villa.
