Tottenham fans have called for Andy Robertson to start this season after his stellar pre-season display against Sydney FC in Australia.
Andy Robertson has made it clear that he aims to push Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie for a starting spot out on the left of Tottenham’s defence.
That would certainly be no easy task for the 33-year-old, who struggled for game time at Liverpool last term following the Reds’ signing of Milos Kerkez.
However, Robertson has wasted little time in getting to work and has made his first appearance for Spurs in pre-season after coming off the bench against Sydney in Tottenham’s tour of Australia.

The experienced full-back looked impressive in his brief cameo off the bench, creating two chances for Spurs with his trademark first-time deliveries into the box.
The full-back was unlucky not to have managed an assist or two as Yang Min-hyeok failed to convert either of the big chances he created.
Not only was Robertson an attacking threat, but his all-round game was really stellar as the full-back looked to impress in his first appearance for Spurs.

His impressive display has now left many Tottenham fans excited, with plenty full of praise following his 45-minute run-out against Sydney.
Taking to social media, one fan said: “Andy Robertson with a fantastic first cameo today. 👏🏴 He looked great down the left, created multiple chances that we really should have done better on, looked sharp, and got in great positions. Very impressed. Looking forward to seeing more. 🤍”
