Some Spurs fans on social media are convinced that Harry Kane is the best striker in the world and could go on to become the club’s greatest ever player after he reached another major milestone during the North Londoner’s 3-1 win over Ludogorets.
Kane has started this season on-fire, having registered twelve goals and ten assists already across all competitions (tranfermarkt.com).
The 27-year-old is not showing any signs of slowing down either as he scored the opener against Ludogorets with a well-placed header before finding Lucas Moura with an excellent low cross for the Brazilian to tap in.
The England captain entered the Premier League’s all-time top 10 goalscorers list with his goal against Brighton on Sunday and he has now reached an even more significant milestone.
Kane’s goal against the Bulgarian side on Thursday was his 200th strike in a Spurs shirt in 300 appearances.
Only Bobby Smith with 208 and Jimmy Greaves with 266 have scored more goals for the club in its 138-year history.
Some Spurs fans are convinced that it is only a matter of time before Kane crosses Greaves’ tally.
One Career Wonder!!
