Big Clubs want Eriksen claims former West Ham supremo

Christian Eriksen is being monitored by ‘all the big clubs’, according to former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic

The Dane has had a teriffic 2018 for both club and country including scoring a hat-trick against the Republic of Ireland that secured his country’s place at the World Cup.

The Express quotes Bilic as saying: “Eriksen, all the big clubs are after him.The only reason why he’s not a huge, huge name is because he’s supposed to be very humble, an ordinary guy, whereas nowadays you need to be a bit more like what Pogba is having off the pitch.

Bilic added:“We played about five or six times against Spurs in the league and in the cup, sometimes he didn’t play well but it’s impossible to man mark him. Just watch his goals,He’s quick enough and then he’s not a player who will take the ball and beat six players.“He can play with one touch or two touches.

He went on to say: “He’s got that great quality of feeling the space around him and when to come in. So to mark him individually it’s pointless.”

Eriksen joined us from Ajax five years ago and has become one of the top players in the Premier League. He is a key component of Mauricio Pochettino’s side scoring 10 goals and contributing 10 assists in 37 league games, as well as another two goals in the Champions League.
