German football journalist Max Schrader has been banned from future press events during Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Thailand and Singapore following his stunt at Ange Postecogou’s press conference earlier today.
Schrader, who works for the pro-Bayern Munich outlet BILD performed a cheeky stunt while Postecoglou was addressing the media ahead of tomorrow’s match against Leicester City when he held up a Bayern Munich shirt with ‘Kane’ and the No9 on the back and asked the Spurs head coach what he thought of it, arrogantly adding: “It looks quite good, no?” (Daily Mail).

BILD have confirmed tonight that Tottenham’s press officer Anthony Marshall allegedly sent Schrader a WhatsApp message after the conference had ended to reveal he has had his press accreditation revoked following a request to the organisers of both upcoming matches.
The message is said to have read: “Following the incident at today’s press conference, I wanted to inform you as a courtesy that we have asked the organizer of our game tomorrow and in Singapore to revoke your accreditation.”
Postecoglou appeared to be deeply unimpressed by Schrader’s plan when he replied: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, did you get a good laugh? Got what you got? Maybe? Very good, you came a long way for that, thank you.”
Kane‘s future at Tottenham has been the subject of intense press coverage with the England striker the target of Bayern Munich and is said to be open to a move to the Bundesliga giants and is said to be not to prepared to extend his stay in north London beyond next summer when his contract expires (Sky Sports).
