Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has moved quickly to reject claims that Christopher Samba could be set for a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports in the press had suggested that Harry Redknapp was willing to pay £11million for the 25-year-old defender.
“It is an absolute nonsense,” Allardyce told Sky Sports News.
“As far as I’m concerned, there has been no contact with Tottenham – and I know that as I spoke to Harry Redknapp.”
