Brazilian on Spurs radar.

According to Metro we are rivaling Manchester United for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain misfit Lucas Moura, according to reports in France.

The article says PSG are determined to cash in on Lucas before the January transfer window closes and reports suggest the 25-year-old has said ‘yes’ to Jose Mourinho over a move to Old Trafford.

It adds that the French giants are under pressure to sell following the high-profile summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but it’s understood United are more interested in a loan deal for Lucas.

French publication Le 10 Sport claims Spurs have now made contact with PSG over the Brazilian’s situation at the Parc des Princes. However, as is the case with United, the north London club are only looking to bring Lucas in on loan.

It adds that when asked about transfer rumours back in October, Lucas told UOL Esporte: ‘I am concentrating on improving my physical performance.
‘Whatever the situation with the national team, that is Tite’s decision.I need to concentrate on improving at PSG.The season began in a difficult way for me, but my aim is to win back my starting place and the great moments that I had last year.’
