Brennan Johnson has not minced words about Pedro Porro’s non-selection for Spain’s Euro 2024 squad, with the Tottenham winger insisting that his teammate has been ‘robbed’.

Many associated Spurs, including the players and the fans, has been utterly astounded by the fact that Porro did not find a place in the 29-man preliminary Spanish squad announced for the European championship.
The Tottenham right-back could not have done any more to be on the plane to Germany, having 10 goal contributions to his name in the Premier League this season, which are formidable numbers for a full-back.
Yet, the 24-year-old has seen Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal and Sevilla’s ageing star Jesus Navas being named in the La Roja squad ahead of him, along with Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella.
Porro reacted quite gracefully despite being left out, stating on social media that while he was looking forward to playing in the Euros, he will now be cheering on his teammates from home this summer.
On Tuesday, we covered the fact many of the right-back’s Tottenham teammates were disappointed on his behalf, with the likes of Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Heung-min Son coming to the Spaniard’s support in response to his Instagram post.

Johnson has become the latest player to respond and the 23-year-old has not hidden his feelings, commenting: ‘Robbed’ on Porro’s post.
