Brennan Johnson has taken to social media to send a goodbye message to Tottenham fans after completing a switch to Crystal Palace.
Tottenham agreed a £35m fee with Palace for Johnson several days ago, and the winger’s move to the South London club has now become official.
According to a club insider, the Wales international was reluctant to leave Spurs, with Oliver Glasner needing to intervene to convince him about the transfer.
The winger has now reacted on social media after his two-and-a-half-year spell at the club came to an end.

Brennan Johnson thanks Tottenham fans for their support
Tottenham fans showed their love to Johnson during the 0-0 draw against Brentford, with the away fans signing his name throughout the game even though he was not part of the matchday squad.
The 24-year-old has written his name into Spurs folklore for scoring what was arguably the most consequential goal in the club’s recent history in the Europa League final.
The former Nottingham Forest man has now taken to social media to thank the supporters for his journey in North London.
He simply wrote: “Been a ride. Thank you, Tottenham.”
Johnson is leaving Spurs as a hero at the right time
The fact that Johnson has not played much this season is probably a blessing in disguise, as his legacy at Tottenham remains intact.
He will always be remembered for the goal in Bilbao and will remain a cult hero with the Spurs faithful for a long time. There is no doubt that Johnson will get a fantastic reception whenever he returns to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The short and rather blunt message is no reflection on Johnson’s relationship with the fans, but perhaps he is slightly annoyed about the way he was forced out of Tottenham.
