Brighton handed double injury boost ahead of PL clash against Tottenham

As Tottenham Hotspur prepare to face Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, they will be disappointed to learn that both Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister have been passed fit for the upcoming game.

High-flying Brighton will travel to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Saturday afternoon for what is ultimately a crucial six-pointer in the race for the top four this year.

Tottenham are currently in fifth place in the Premier League, with 50 points from 29 games.

Brighton have been mightily impressive this year, and now sit in sixth place, four points behind the Lilywhites but with two games in hand.

Roberto De Zerbi has done a fine job since taking over at Brighton earlier this season. The Seagulls now look likely to achieve their best-ever Premier League finish, and could close the gap on Spurs this weekend.

In fact, De Zerbi has done such a good job that Spurs have reportedly made contact with the Italian about taking the managerial role in North London, but it seems the 43-year-old would rather stay at Brighton (Football.London).

Brighton have more bad news for Spurs ahead of the weekend, after the club’s Twitter account announced two key players will be available for the big game.

The post said: “By the way, Moises and Alexis will be available for Saturday at Spurs.”

The pair had seemingly picked up knocks in Brighton’s midweek win over Bournemouth, but have been given a clean bill of health ahead of the weekend.

Spurs Web Opinion

Brighton are always going to be a better team with Caicedo and Mac Allister in their side, and we are going to find things very difficult at the weekend I’m sure.

It’s a must-win for Spurs, and we have to make that home advantage count. Unfortunately, I just can’t see Brighton losing at the moment.
